# How to update the EQUIMETRE sensors?
## Inside the sensors, algorithms and software work on your data even before sending it to the phone. Our teams are constantly improving them: to stay up to date, equip your sensors with the latest versions in 1 click.
- From the application, log in
- On the second tab "EQMs" the list of your Equimeters is displayed
- Click on the name of the Equimetre.
- If the device does not have the latest version installed, click on the red button "Update" to install the latest version of the software available. If it is not displayed, your Equimetre is up to date.
It is your phone that will update the software inside the sensor via BLE. The update can take up to 20 minutes and the EQUIMETRE BLE led will be blinking. You can switch screen and apps but pay attention to staying close to the device !
**Our teams release new versions very often!** We recommend to check every month that your sensors are up to date.
In case of technical problem, it also happens that the update of the sensors solves your anomaly.
New versions of the apps are also released very often, make sure the app installed on your phone are up to date.
